942406 - I have the latest firefox version but keep getting tabs popping up asking me to update to continue. There is also a small window within the popup asking me to download the latest version. Firefox then crashes after closing new 'update' tab.

Actual results:

Screenshot1 popped up in a new tab.  (see attached file)


Expected results:

Nothing.

Why did you delete my screenshot?  I saved it so when you find you need it just ask.  I have 2 shots, one of the update request screen and one of my version verification screen.

Probably because it contained information that should better not be public.

Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems. It does not disable plugins which are add-ons.) I keep getting requests to update to Firefox 34.0 Beta 4 when I have already completed this update.  It is annoying to continually get this popup box.  How can I stop it?
